The Ripple Effect - 34
Natalia Anja / Clean Water for Bekyye
For years I had seen images of the water crisis and heard about it, however, there was always a disconnection. On a trip to Ethiopia in 2018, I saw it with my own eyes. It struck me hard. It was real and it was right in front of me. I instantly got hit with a wave of sadness, anger, frustration, discomfort and heart break. Also, hope.

Thank you for creating the opportunity to help, & to be able to help...if even in this small way...co-create a dream with, the community of Bekyye that is working hard toward realizing a dream and new and prosperous future for themselves in every way. Your yearly fundraiser is so appreciated Natalia! ~C.

I donated $88.88 because in numerology “angel number 8888 is a positive sign as it brings good fortune with it. Angel number 8888 symbolizes wealth, fortune, and abundance.” I wish this to all involved to help bring more fresh water to communities that need it.

I learned this from my super cool amazing friend Nat. - In a world you can be anything, be kind. - What you do for yourself dies with you but what you do for others lives on in the world. Happy birthday Nat. I love all the amazing things you do to give back to the community. You are an awesome human☺️

About The Ripple Effect - 34
I actually had the privilege of meeting some of the women and children from the community of Bekyye on my trip to Ethiopia. We saw them collecting really dirty water as we were about to drive through the river they were collecting from. After chatting with them and seeing the hardships that they endure on a daily basis, RFW partnered with them in building a water well and a school.
