About - Cam IS running for water!

My commitment to 2019 is to give back more. Making a difference in the world is what lights me up.

In November 2019, I will be visiting a rural community in Oromia, Ethiopia to celebrate a new beginning for them; accessible and clean drinking water within a few steps from their homes!

This means girls and women would no longer have to walk miles every day to collect water. Instead, they are free to attend school, have playtime and pursue other interests. Clean water is essential to securing health, education and economic sustainability. 100% of your donation will be going directly to building clean water wells in rural Oromia, Ethiopia. And I will be there to see first-hand the difference it makes!

Over the next 11 months I will be doing a number of events/challenges to raise money for RUN FOR WATER. My first one will be a donation drive for my birthday. Next up will be the BMO Half Marathon with a group of like minded people also raising money for RUN FOR WATER. For those who know me, that will be a challenge!

My own travel costs will NOT be coming out of the donation pool. Join us as we partner with the rural Oromia community to transform their lives forever. More info can be found here: www.runforwater.ca

Thank you so very much!
